I STILL CHOOSE GOD

“For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness;

but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.” (1 Cor. 1:18)

There are some who simply cannot understand, in the midst of all that is going on,

Why are we still proclaiming the good news of the gospel?

Why are we still proclaiming that Jesus saves?

Why are we still declaring that God is good?

When people are dying, and tornadoes for 2 weeks straight have caused devastation and destruction in the south, and on Easter Sunday of all days.

When regular sick folks are scared to go to the doctor because of Corona sick folks and it seems there is a shootout on the streets every other day,

Why are we still saying, God is Good?

BECAUSE HE IS!

If it was not for a loving Father God, we would all sooner perish but because of him, we yet live.

It is no secret that the enemy has his crew on the ground and his minions are doing an excellent job,

but I’m still choosing to fight in the army of the Lord and I will not surrender because I know where the power is.

It’s on the Lord’s side – the enemy has some power, but God has it all.

There is sheer power in the name Jesus and in the blood of the lamb and in the anointing of the Holy Ghost.

Therefore, I still choose God because I found out in the Psalms, that 'thou O Lord, art a shield for me, my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.' (Psalm 3:3)

I still choose him because, when 'I cried unto the Lord with my voice, he heard me out of his holy hill.'

(Psalm 3:4)

I still choose God because last night, 'I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the Lord sustained me.'

(Psalms 3:5)

I still choose God because He cannot lose, He cannot fail ... the songwriter said, but He must prevail, so have faith in Him ...

And keep your faith in Him because He's got us.

Just hold on to God’s unchanging hands.

This storm will soon pass over.

Choose to be Victorious.

Choose to be on the Winning Side.

Choose to Believe in God.

Amen.
