HE LOVES US IN SPITE OF IT ALL

How many of us - when we have gotten to know people - have changed our feelings about them?

We have a change of mind, change of heart and / or change of attitude.

From the documented "changes of minds" (divorces), that number is staggering, and how much greater are the undocumented cases ... betrayed friendships, estranged romances, severed family ties, etc.

I have had people change their minds about me and I never knew why.

But, thankfully, there is ONE whose mind is fixed! He knows us and all that is hidden in our closets of life, yet He loves us in spite of it all.

He has seen us at our worst. He didn't flinch.

He has seen us at our neediest. He didn't turn us away.

He has seen us at our lowest. He didn't withdraw His hand.

He has seen us at our best. He didn't swoon.

God has shown us who He really is ... and I believe Him!

I am so grateful that His love is greater than me, at my very best.

He forgives, He uplifts, He delivers, He restores, He fulfills and He satisfies.

He does what we cannot do for ourselves and what others may not be willing or able to do.

He is not a failing God. He is not a turning-away God; in fact, there is no shadow of turning in Him.

He loves us, in spite of it all!
