It's Time for A New Thing

"Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” (Is. 43:19)

I’ve heard many times that it is futile to do the same thing continuously and expect a different outcome.

To get a different result, we must do a new thing.

God knew this only too well, which is why He says, He will do a ‘new thing’ because that is the only way to experience a different outcome.

A wilderness is and has always been a scary, confused placed but God can make a clear path straight through it and there is no danger in getting lost or turned around as you press your way through.

A desert is a dry, arid place but when God wants a different look, He will place an oasis in the midst.

When He wants a new look in us, He fills us with His spirit, with His love and that turns our frowns into smiles, our depression into rejoicing.

God did a new thing when He sent Jesus. Jesus did a new thing when He turned our condemnation into justification, our black souls into purity, our sinfulness into holiness. He did a new thing and got a new result.

We can continue to act on our own, depend on our own abilities and logic which always result in sin and error and the wages of sin will always pay off in death.

When we choose Jesus, we choose a new thing and the result is a new walk, a new talk, a new mindset, a new lifestyle and a new payoff, which is LIFE eternal.

God wants to do a new thing for you today and all He needs from you is a ‘YES’. ​​
